Semrén & Månsson designed 80 houses in the Äril district, in ahistorical-cultural area in Norra Djurgårdsstaden. As one of the most extensive
urban development areas in Europe, a completely new environmental district is being
created here at the intersection of the waters of the Baltic Sea, the Royal
National City Park and the city center of Stockholm.

The apartments have large balconies set back to the west or sheltered
rooftop terraces with views of the City's National Park. The roofs, designed as
green roofs, are green vantage points for residents while effectively
reclaiming stormwater. The material of the facade is mainly Phyllite in a
varied design mixing different finishes and textures as well as types of
installation.
