Quartzite

This typology of natural stones from the Naturpiedra Jbernardos range, make up a wide range of products, of different tones and finishes. Quartzite is a very hard metamorphic rock with a majority quartz content; geologically formed thanks to the high pressures and temperatures of the tectonic layers. The rest of the different components of each one of them, confer a great variety of materials of diverse tonalities, among which there are numerous ornamental rocks used in construction.

They are an enormously decorative element, capable of dressing elegantly with their variety of colours and textures, providing ample solutions in any construction project: flooring and cladding, both exterior and interior, ventilated façades with the different systems they use, masonry, cobblestones, or urban development and landscaping works.

These types of materials, widely used in construction, stand out mainly for their great hardness, adapting perfectly to outdoor use due to their optimum behaviour in any type of environment and climate. In veneerings they are very resistant materials and avoid humidity; in flooring they provide great resistance to compression, friction and slipping. Like all natural stone, they are ecologically sustainable materials, providing this added value to the projects in which they are applied.

We highlight the Cuarcita Cobre, extracted from the quarry in the small Segovian town of Domingo García, and processed in the Bernardos factory, where Naturpiedra controls the entire process of this material of grey and oxide tones and rough texture, highly appreciated in gardening and landscaping, both in the national and European markets. Naturpiedra also completes its range with various quartzites from collaborating quarries, both national and imported, making up one of the widest offers of this material on the market, both in number of products and in variety of tones, formats, finishes and uses for which they are intended.
