We return from the Rocalia/Paysalia Trade Fair in Lyon with the satisfaction of a job well done. The strong visitor turnout and the geographical diversity of visitors (6.5% international visitors), as well as exhibitors (49% international exhibitors), confirm the importance of this event as a benchmark platform for the natural stone sector in Europe.
The exhibition was a great success in terms of attendance and established itself as a true meeting point with the main natural stone buyers in France. Thanks to Lyon’s strategic location, we also welcomed many professionals from other countries, such as Spain, Switzerland, and Germany, who were interested in our natural stone solutions for architecture, landscaping, and interior design.
Both current customers and new contacts who visited our stand were able to appreciate a space designed with great attention to detail, as well as a very comprehensive presentation of products from our own Bernardos quarry: Phyllite and Copper Quartzite. These materials are ideal for architecture, landscaping, urban development, and interior design projects seeking authenticity and environmental sustainability.
We would like to extend our special thanks to ICE (Institute for Business Competitiveness) of the Regional Government of Castilla y León for its support and coordination in the organization. Without its work, it would be much more difficult to be present at international trade fairs of this importance and to continue promoting the natural stone from our quarries in projects around the world.
The Rocalia Trade Fair reflects the current trend of a return to natural resources and noble materials, recognized for their authenticity and durability—particularly natural stone. From construction to landscaping, designer decoration, and heritage restoration, this exhibition is unique in France in showcasing this material of the future: authentic and long-lasting.
