A ra\u00edz de las concesiones obtenidas, se constituye en 1909 en Londres The Bernardos Slate Quarries Ltd., una compa\u00f1\u00eda limitada por acciones con un capital nominal de 10.000 libras esterlinas y cuyos directores y m\u00e1ximos accionistas son Constantine Honeywill y William Ross Honeywill.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">La compa\u00f1\u00eda inglesa comienza a operar ese mismo a\u00f1o de 1909, y llega como encargado de la misma Mr Edward Thomas Price. En 1914 el informe del ingeniero jefe de la provincia, que publica la Estad\u00edstica Minera, se\u00f1ala que:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2f311c0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2f311c0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p align=\"justify\">De la actividad y de las obras de la compa\u00f1\u00eda inglesa sabemos poco. Participaron en la rehabilitaci\u00f3n del Albergue de la Fuenfr\u00eda y tenemos noticias de que pizarras de Bernardos se utilizaron por varios ceramistas de la familia Zuloaga para hacer esmaltados<sup>(40)<\/sup>\u00a0. Como est\u00edmulo para la difusi\u00f3n de su producto, la compa\u00f1\u00eda inglesa se anunci\u00f3 repetidamente en una revista madrile\u00f1a, la Ciudad Lineal, que promov\u00eda la urbanizaci\u00f3n del conocido barrio de Ciudad Lineal bajo el proyecto de Arturo Soria.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">Finalmente, en 1928 la compa\u00f1\u00eda inglesa dio por finalizada su actividad, liquidando la sociedad, pasando a ser adquirida por propietarios espa\u00f1oles<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section
