This skyscraper is one of the most emblematic buildings of Spanisharchitecture of the last century, originally the headquarters of the Bank of
Bilbao, it already had Grey Phyllite veneers from the Bernardos quarries, in
large sections, in the common and noble areas of the building.
Icon of the skyline of Azca, financial district of the city of Madrid; and
referent of the architecture of its author, Francisco Javier Sáenz de Oiza.
Recently transformed by the real estate agency GMP, into an office rental
building, a renovation in which not only we installed again the walll claddings
in natural surface Phyllite, but also in the common corridor flooring we put
the brushed finish. This rehabilitation is directed by the Ruiz Barbarín Architects
Studio, obtaining the LEED Platinum certificate, the highest distinction in
sustainability and energy efficiency.
